Dalmore Highland Malt Scotch Whisky (1950's Bottling) 12 Year Old
Out of stock
One for the whisky historian and archivist. A late 1950's early 1960's miniature Dalmore. This is a real crate digger. With the distilleries old livery on the bottle and even carrying the name of the distillery owners of the time, this is a real time piece of a whisky, harking back to the first golden age of single malts.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with mahogany undertones and a radiant, sunlit core.
Nose
Opulent sherry envelops dried fig and raisin, with orange zest and vanilla-caramel notes. Toasted oak, cocoa, and a whisper of leather and spice frame a polished, time-worn Dalmore aroma, nostalgic, generous, and deeply inviting.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate with orange zest, caramel toffee and dried fruit. Rich cocoa and vanilla mingle with warming spices—cinnamon and clove—borne by polished oak. A subtle sherry sweetness adds raisin and walnut notes, finishing long, refined and impeccably balanced.
Finish
An enduring, velvet finish that lingers with orange zest and sherry sweetness, warming spice, and a kiss of dark chocolate. Oak and walnut echo as the notes slowly recede, leaving a refined, aromatic trail that harks back to Dalmore’s golden era.
