Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-gold with mahogany depth and a whisper of ruby sheen in bright light.
Nose
Opulent, wine-kissed aromas: cassis and black cherry fuse with vanilla and toasted oak, while the Bordeaux finish adds redcurrant and blackberry with a touch of clove. Leather, cocoa and a whisper of tobacco emerge, all wrapped in polished, perfumed oak.
Palate
Silky on the palate, it unfurls with blackcurrant, cassis and black plum, laced by cocoa and dark chocolate. Subtle vanilla and spice from the oak mingle with a restrained cedary tone, while refined tannins from the Cabernet finish give poised structure and a long, wine-lit finish.
Finish
Long, refined finish of blackcurrant and cassis, layered with dark cocoa and hints of orange zest. Bordeaux tannins mingle with Dalmore’s emblematic spice, leaving a velvety warmth that lingers, fading into toasted oak and a subtle leather echo.
