Dalmore 25 Year old Highland Single Malt is a luxurious Whisky aged in American white oak, followed by a second maturation in Palomino Fino Sherry butts and first fill bourbon casks. Taking the maturation further, they are then married together in bourbon barrels and finally in Tawny Port pipes.
On the nose there are aromas of figs and spongecake, this is followed by vanilla and marzipan alongside tropical fruits and slight balsamic notes. The fruity notes continue on the palate, only this time with rich flavours damsons, dates and raisins. this is complimented by Citrus peel with chocolate and liquorice. The finish is sweet and spicy; brown sugar, dark chocolate, fresh gingerbread cookies and treacle.

Nose
A luxurious fragrance of ripe figs and sponge cake, layered with vanilla and marzipan. Tropical fruits drift in with a subtle balsamic lift, hinting at the depth to come.
Palate
On the palate, damsons, dates and raisins unfold with citrus peel, intertwined with chocolate and liquorice. The richness broadens into a velvety sweetness—brown sugar and treacle—before a warm, lingering finish of spice and gingerbread.
Finish
Sweet and spicy on the finish: brown sugar and treacle brighten dark chocolate, while gingerbread cookies linger with a gentle warmth.
