For over 150 years, The Dalmore has set the standard in multi cask maturation. Carefully composed spirit and hand selected casks, from the worlds finest bodegas and wineries, are expertly curated to create a sumptuous and layered whisky of legendary finesse.
An exceptional whisky matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and first-fill sherry casks which have previously held 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry. These Sherry Casks are hand selected exclusively for The Dalmore from the world-renowned Gonzalez Byass bodega to create an extraordinary whisky full of character.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with mahogany undertones and a warm, chestnut-gold glow.
Nose
Dark bitter chocolate, overripe Seville oranges, Colombian coffee and toffee apple fuse into a sumptuous, layered aroma, suggesting depth, warmth and a subtle, inviting sweetness on the nose.
Palate
Black forest fruits, roasted walnuts and thick marzipan unfold on the palate, delivering rich depth, creamy textures, and a lingering, confection-like sweetness.
Finish
An elegant, extended finish where earthy ginseng lingers alongside pear tarte tatin, brightened by Sanguinello blood oranges, leaving a refined, orchard-bright fade with a whisper of spice.
