The Distillers Editions are an annual release of the finest single malts, double-matured in batches using individually prepared casks that have held a specially selected fortified wine, chosen to complement the characteristics of each mature whisky. The result is a range of sublime, deeply flavoured single malt whiskies, very much true to their origins, yet possessing a rich depth, complexity and nuance of flavour.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery bronze highlights.
Nose
Briny wax, citrus zest and orchard fruit open, with sherry-finished depth. Dried fig and raisin mingle with toasted almond, vanilla and a whisper of cocoa over polished oak. A marine, elegant perfume—rich, poised and slowly unfolding.
Palate
Silky and full on the palate, with honeyed sweetness and waxy citrus. Dried fruits—prune, fig, raisin—mingle with warm spice, toasted almond and cocoa. Sherry-cask depth brings velvety oak, caramel, and a long, refined finish of orange zest, sea-salt, and lingering fruitcake notes.
Finish
Long, elegant finish where sherry-softened fruit and orange zest give way to dark chocolate and plum, tapering to a silky wax, with a coastal saltiness and quiet oak spice that linger gracefully.
