The Caperdonich Distillery closed in 2002. Rare whiskies from this silent distillery are highly sought after and are future collectors items. This official bottling was matured for 18 years in American oak - a smoky, viscous and peppery Single Malt with a savoury and fruity edge.
Smoky bonfire comes together with the classic sweet and fruity Speyside style. This rare and robust Single Malt is subtly layered with initial aromas of peat, followed by a taste of apple and brown sugar, gentle ginger and warming orange.

Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Peat smoke and a bonfire glow frame a smoky Speyside bouquet. Initial peat notes mingle with apple and brown sugar, a hint of ginger and orange zest, finishing with a peppery, savory edge from 18 years in American oak.
Palate
Velvety and viscous, the palate opens with a smoky bonfire and a peppery bite. Savory, fruit-forward Speyside notes emerge: green apple and brown sugar, shaped by gentle ginger and warming orange. Subtle peat lingers, yielding a balanced, long finish carried by 18 years in American oak.
