Another delicately sweet Caperdonich, released under the Secret Speyside moniker.

Matured in 1st fill American Oak barrels for 21 years, this has almost dessert like qualities with flavours of cream, pear, demerara sugar and citrus to the fore.

This fruity and sweet malt brings together zesty orange, poached pear and rich vanilla, with floral herbs for a long and smooth finish.

(Capper-DOH-nich) Caperdonich was built in 1898 in Rothes by J. & J. Grant, directly opposite Glen Grant, and originally operated as Glen Grant No. 2. It was intended to increase production of Glen Grant-style spirit, with the two sites once linked by a pipeline. The distillery closed in 1902 after only a short working life and remained silent for more than six decades.
