Caperdonich distillery closed in 2002, making mature single malts like this especially rare. Decades of sherry wood influence add deep dried fruit, spice and oak complexity to Caperdonich’s naturally gentle Speyside character, with layers of raisin, orange peel and warm toffee supported by rich malt sweetness and subtle oak warmth in a refined, expressive long-aged release.

Dark amber.
Nose
Sweet stewed red berry aromas lead to seville orange peel and mixed nut s. Treacle toffee intertwines with festive spices and a hint of grape fruit.
Palate
Smooth and sweet raspberry and blackcurrant flavours combine with butterscotch. Prune s lead to walnut and a hint of dried banana.
Finish
Full and long finish with spice and lingering citrus fruit.
