Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich antique amber with coppery highlights and a hint of mahogany, like sun-warmed caramel streaming through aged oak.
Nose
Opulent and aged, the nose opens with polished oak, beeswax, and honeyed vanilla. Sherry cask warmth adds dried apricot and fig, with almond and a veil of citrus zest. Subtle spice, toffee sweetness, and a faint leather note complete a refined, enduringly elegant bouquet.
Palate
Silky and opulent on the palate, orchard fruit and raisin mingle with nutty toffee and dark chocolate, carried by a refined sherry sweetness. Spiced oak lingers, warming to a long finish.
Finish
Silky, exceptionally long finish with dusky sherry sweetness—fig, raisin and dark chocolate—unfolding over refined oak, balanced by warm spice and a final whisper of toasted nut.
