Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with sunlit honey highlights and a trace of copper.
Nose
Coastal sea air and brine mingle with vanilla, citrus and orchard fruits. A restrained wispy veil of smoke unfurls, with sherry-darkened notes of raisin, fig and cocoa.
Palate
Briny, bright on the palate, sea-salt and citrus zest mingle with a whisper of smoke. Sherry-cask influence adds dried fruit, fig and almond, tempered by vanilla and subtle oak. The finish is long and mineral, with peppery spice and enduring maritime warmth.
Finish
An elegant, lingering finish where a whisper of coastal smoke lingers over sea-salt and sherried fruit. Rich vanilla and toasted oak frame the palate as warming heat unfurls, leaving cocoa-dusted spice and a maritime tang that slowly fades.
