Tasting Notes
Colour
Gleaming pale gold with a soft honey-amber glow.
Nose
Intense peat smoke rises with a maritime, iodine-kissed breeze, layered with sherry‑rich sweetness. Dried dark fruit, raisin and treacle mingle with cocoa and espresso, while leather and resinous oak deepen the profile. A coastal brine lingers, touched by citrus zest as the smoke persists.
Palate
Powerful peat and maritime brine rise on the palate, with iodine, ash and sea spray mingling with warm sherry sweetness. Dark raisin, fig and cocoa unfold alongside vanilla and spice, with a firm, peppery bite. The mouthfeel is full and silky, coating with velvety density before a long, smoky finish of peat, salt and citrus zest.
Finish
Long, maritime smoke lingers, fanning peat with sea-salt and iodine. Sherry-fueled dark fruit, cocoa and leather arise, then fade to toasted almond and spice. The finish is warm and resinous, coating the palate with coastal ember that slowly fades to a delicate, lingering whisper.
