Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper edges and a mahogany-tinged glow.
Nose
Polished leather and antique cedar open the nose, entwined with intense dried fruits—fig, date, and raisin—alongside orange zest, toffee and dark chocolate. Spices of clove and vanilla emerge from the oak, with a subtle maritime breeze and salted almond notes lending a refined Islay character.
Palate
Silky, opulent palate layered with dried figs, raisins and dates, lifted by lush sherry. Notes of dark chocolate, espresso and toasted oak unfold, tempered by a subtle maritime whisper. Spices—nutmeg and cinnamon—linger into a long, luxurious finish.
Finish
Long, velvety and refined, the finish carries sherry-dark fruit, cacao and toffee, with dried fig and toasted almond; a trace of sea breeze, leather and tobacco lingers, slowly fading into warm spice.
