Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery-tinged edges and a dusky mahogany glow.
Nose
Opulent, dark-fruit aroma of prunes, raisins and fig paste, lifted by zests of orange and a touch of sea air. Rich PX sweetness mingles with toffee, cacao and toasted oak, while warm spice and almond lend elegance. A refined, coastal sherried perfume that promises a lush, lingering finish.
Palate
Silky and decadently rich on the palate, this Bunnahabhain coats the tongue with PX-soaked depth: dark figs, prunes and raisins, mingled with treacle, cacao and toffee. Notes of almond, candied citrus and a whisper of coastal salt frame a warm, velvety finish with subtle oak spice.
Finish
Silky, opulent finish drenched in PX sweetness—raisins, figs and treacle—balanced by dark chocolate and caramel. Orange zest and spice drift through, then a long, warming fade with a delicate maritime whisper.
