Tasting Notes
Colour
Sunlit gold with warm amber depths and a coppery edge, subtly kissed by Madeira’s mahogany sheen.
Nose
Coastal peat and sea-salt meet bright lemon zest and vanilla, carried by Bourbon-cask sweetness. Madeira lends richness with dried fig, orange peel and honey, while a gentle briny undertone and mineral note linger in the air.
Palate
Silky, gently peated with coastal brightness, it glides over the palate with creamy vanilla and honeyed toffee. Madeira-derived dried fruit and citrus zest layer over orchard flavors, while a saline sea-breeze note keeps it lively. Subtle spice and toasted oak provide backbone, finishing with a long, softly smoky echo.
Finish
Medium-peat coastal notes fade into a lingering ribbon of vanilla and toffee, with a soft Madeira fruitiness that yields to saline smoke. Warmth stays long on the palate, leaving toasted almond, gentle oak spice and a subtle resinous echo that lingers.
