Originally planned as an investors only bottling for the newly re-opened Bruichladdich distillery. It was initially stated that these casks wouldn't be bottled until they were at least 8 years old but they finally made their way out at just 5 years old.

Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and mahogany edges, a warm, inviting glow.
Nose
Sherry-dark aromas pour forth—ripe red berries, fig and raisin—woven with vanilla, cocoa and toasted oak. A touch of spice and almond follow, while a gentle coastal brine and sea-salt lift lend Islay air to this bright, youthful nose.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Ripe red fruits and orange zest unfold against rich sherry, delivering fig, raisin, and dark chocolate, framed by toasted almond and vanilla. A measured spice and a whisper of smoke lift the finish, leaving a warm, lingering note of oak.
Finish
Long, silky finish with a whisper of sherry sweetness lingering on the palate. Dark fruit and cocoa evolve into subtle oak spice, while a delicate coastal brine keeps the memory bright, fading to a warm, velvety glow.
