Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, sunlit amber with copper-gold highlights and a whisper of mahogany, radiating a warm, inviting glow.
Nose
Salted peat and sea air mingle with bright citrus and orchard fruit, folded into vanilla-toffee sweetness. Tobermory’s almond notes meet Jura’s honeyed apples, while Ardbeg contributes a smoky, medicinal edge with iodine and ember-spice. A subtle sherry lift adds dried fruit and cocoa, hinting at the depth bottled in this rare triple-isle vatting.
Palate
Opulent on the palate, this pillaged malt delivers maritime smoke entwined with sherried sweetness. Dried fig and orange zest mingle with dark chocolate and toasted almond, while coastal brine and a whisper of peat nod to Islay. Velvety fullness, warming spice, and a long, resinous finish with polished oak.
Finish
Long, resinous finale where coastal peat and sea-salt anchor a rich sherried sweetness. Dried fruit, cocoa and orange zest mingle with warm oak, while spice lingers on the palate. A delicate iodine edge threads through the smoke, slowly fading into a dry, elegant finish.
