Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, deep amber with coppery-bronze highlights and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Aromas of peat smoke and sea spray mingle with briny coastal notes. Beneath the veil, dark orchard fruits, raisin, and toasted almond emerge, lifted by orange zest and a whisper of rich sherry. Vanilla sweetness and gentle spice add warmth, framing a refined, lingering finish.
Palate
Peaty, maritime notes define the palate: dense smoke and iodine mingle with brine, while a warm sherry sweetness threads through. Dark fruit—raisin and fig—sits with cocoa and spice, delivering velvety richness that expands across the tongue, ending in a long, refined finish of oak, salt, and lingering smoke.
Finish
Long, coastal peat lingers, evolving from brisk smoke to dark sherry fruit, cocoa and roasted almond. A saline, mineral undercurrent threads through the sweetness, fading to toasted oak and peppery spice as the finish slowly sighs away.
