Tasting Notes
Colour
Radiant amber-gold with warm copper highlights and a sun-bronze halo, invitingly luminous in the glass.
Nose
Maritime and softly peated, with sea breeze and a whisper of smoke over malt. Vanilla and honeyed sweetness weave through dried fig and orange zest, while almond and a hint of sherry oak add depth. A refined coastal aroma with gentle spice.
Palate
On the palate, a gentle peat warmth sits over honeyed orchard fruit and vanilla, its creamy texture carrying almond and toffee notes. A whisper of sherry-tinged raisin adds depth, while subtle spice and citrus lift the mid-palate. The smoke remains refined and balanced, giving a clean, softly oaked finish with lingering sweetness.
Finish
Long, refined finish with a gentle peat smoke that lingers beside sherried sweetness. Dried fig and raisin unfold, chased by cocoa and toasted almond, while a soft maritime salt notes the tail, leaving a warm, lingering glow of oak and spice.
