Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark burnished gold with coppery amber overtones and a warm mahogany glow.
Nose
Bold coastal peat smoke envelops a saline, iodine spine, with hints of tar and ash. Dark fruit and sherry sweetness weave through cocoa, vanilla and malt, a mineral sea-spray lift rounding the aroma into a rich, maritime complexity.
Palate
Coiled peat smoke blankets the palate, with iodine and sea-salt brine at the core. Sherry-influenced sweetness hints at dried raisin and fig, wrapped in a silky, waxy mouthfeel. Dark chocolate, citrus zest and a touch of pepper mingle with resinous peat, finishing in a maritime, ash-tinged reprise that lingers with coastal warmth.
Finish
Long, maritime finish of peat smoke and sea spray, evolving into dark cacao and dried fruit, with whispers of vanilla and oak. The peat lingers, peppery and warm, leaving a resinous coastal bite and a final breath of iodine.
