Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery sheen and mahogany edges, a warm, burnished glow.
Nose
Sherry-kissed and fruit-forward, this nose blends dark raisin and fig with toasted oak. Dried orange peel brightens the profile as vanilla and almond marzipan melt into pastry spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg. A delicate maritime whisper of sea breeze lingers, while dark chocolate and subtle oak tannins deepen the aroma, yielding a refined Islay maturation that feels elegantly aged.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate with rich sherry sweetness and depth. Dried raisins and fig mingle with roasted almond, orange zest and a touch of cocoa. Subtle maritime salt, vanilla and spice ride on velvety oak, leaving a balanced, lingering finish.
Finish
Long, refined finish with lingering sherried sweetness—figs, dates and orange zest—supported by toasted almond and cocoa. A gentle brine and warming spice thread leads to a warm, polished oak fade.
