Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with coppery highlights and mahogany edges, a rich chestnut glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven nose with dark fig, raisin and candied orange peel, layered with walnut, toffee and cocoa. Ripe spices—cinnamon and clove—add depth, while a subtle sea-salt breeze hints at Islay, lending coastal elegance to the perfume.
Palate
Rich and velvety, the palate unfolds with dark fig, dried cherry and plump raisin, woven through a thick sherry halo. Notes of toffee, cocoa and orange zest mingle with clove and cinnamon, while polished oak lends depth and structure. A whisper of maritime salt keeps it buoyant, finishing with warming spice and a lingering, festive sweetness.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish unfurls with dark sherried plum and raisin, braided with cocoa, red-berry jelly and toasted spice. A subtle maritime salt and velvety oak linger, delivering a warm, persistent sweetness that slowly fades.
