Glen Ord
(glen-ORD) Glen Ord is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky distillery at Muir of Ord, north-west of Inverness on the Black Isle. Founded in 1838 by Thomas Mackenzie, it has long been tied to one of Scotland’s strong barley-growing areas, with production later passing through companies including James Watson & Son, Dewar’s, DCL and Scottish Malt Distillers before becoming part of Diageo.
