Colour
Rich amber-gold with warm copper undertones and a wine-kissed glow that shimmers in the glass.
Nose
Dry and refined, the nose opens with a vinous first impression, framed by spicy, woody notes of oak shavings and beech. Tart red berry fruit and creamy vanilla allure the senses, with a delicate hint of wax developing. A touch of water softens the aromas, relaxing the profile without changing its core.
Palate
Ultra-smooth, mouth-filling texture ushers in a lively, intense palate. Barley-sugar sweetness with a pinch of salt gives way to a bright tartness, evoking gooseberry and crisp grape. At lower strength the tartness retreats slightly, yet the sweetness remains highlighted, escorted by a lingering, appetising spicy heat.
Finish
A lengthy, palate-drying finish where pepper-heat lingers in a last kiss of silken spice; with water, it sweetens and leaves a trace of fondant in the aftertaste.
