Colour
Deep golden amber with a warm, honeyed glow and coppery undertones.
Nose
Opulent and inviting, the nose presents dark fruit, caramel toffee and vanilla, bound by toasted oak. Spices such as cinnamon and clove, with malty richness, unfold to reveal a full-bodied, warm Highland aroma with a kiss of cocoa.
Palate
Bold and velvety on the palate, this Glen Ord coats the mouth with rich dried fruit—raisin, fig and prune—alongside cocoa, toffee and a whisper of orange zest. Hoghead maturation adds depth with roasted oak and nutty notes, delivering a full-bodied, savoury sweetness. Spices build into a long, warming finish with caramelized oak and lingering fruit.
Finish
Long, silky finish with sherry-influenced fruit, dark chocolate and toasted oak. Dried fruit sweetness lingers, tempered by vanilla and a gentle spice, fading to toasted nuts and fine oak tannins. An elegant, enduring finale that reflects the unfiltered, natural-colour maturation.
