Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a dusky mahogany edge, a warm sherry-kissed glow.
Nose
Smoked toffee and sooty barbecue mingle with coastal sea spray, dark loose-leaf tea, and baked apple stuffed with rum-soaked raisins.
Palate
Tarry toffee and sweet smoke interlace with aromatic sherry wood, old tea chests and smoked dark chocolate. Raisins of rum linger as an oily, malty mouthfeel unfolds, carrying BBQ meat/savoury notes and a whisper of coal smoke.
Finish
A tarry, sooty finish of teriyaki glaze and BBQ smoke, entwined with rum-soaked raisins, a cool menthol lift and lingering smoked toffee.
