This limited edition single cask release was matured in specially sourced Polish oak. This results in aromas of Seville orange, festive spices and raspberry. This is followed by stewed raisin and milk chocolate on the palate, with forest fruits and bonfire embers to finish.

Bright Seville orange with festive spices and raspberry fills the nose, a lively, inviting bouquet.

Palate

Stewed raisin and milk chocolate rise on the palate, with forest fruits weaving through. A warm, smoky finish of bonfire embers lingers, underpinned by the Polish oak’s subtle spice and depth.

A long, warming finish of forest fruits and bonfire embers, slowly fading with whispers of raisin and milk chocolate.

(ben-ROM-ach) Benromach first opened in 1900, and is situated next to the railway line in Forres, about 25 miles east of Inverness on the main route to Aberdeen. Like many distilleries that opened around this time, the distillery survived until the 1980s, but with many changes of ownership and extended periods of closure.
