Distillery Bottling
This limited-edition release has been initially matured in first-fill bourbon casks, followed by five years of further maturation in the finest Bordeaux wine casks. This results in delicate honey and floral aromas, forest fruits and toasted oak flavours with soft peat smoke on the finish.

Benromach first opened in 1900, and is situated next to the railway line in Forres, about 25 miles east of Inverness on the main route to Aberdeen. Like many distilleries that opened around this time, the distillery survived until the 1980s, but with many changes of ownership and extended periods of closure.
