The oldest current release from the Benromach distillery!
An incredibly rare Single Cask from Benromach. Distilled by hand in early summer 1969, this exquisite Single Malt has been matured in a Single Refill Sherry Hogshead before being bottled at a staggering 50 years old. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 44.6% ABV, this has been presented in a beautiful hand crafted glass decanter and bespoke oak presentation case.
Only 125 decanters are available worldwide, making this an extremely desirable and valuable bottling that would add to any collection.
Benromach is known for its range of classic Speyside single malt Scotch whiskies, beautifully balanced with a light touch of smoke. This old and rare expression exudes undertones of gentle smoke and rewards 50 years of patience and nurture with sweet sherry aromas, ripe fruits and a mellow, mature oak finish.
