This UK-exclusive Benromach was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2024 at 10 years old from single bourbon cask #832. Bottled at a natural strength of 61.2% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour, the cask yielded 213 bottles.
A first-fill bourbon cask gives a slightly different view of Benromach, bringing vanilla, citrus and charred oak more clearly to the fore while still leaving room for the distillery’s trademark soft smoke. That works especially well here, adding brightness and freshness to the whisky without losing the weight and structure that make Benromach so distinctive.
