The second of two rare vintage expressions from the Speyside distillery, Benromach. The 1972 Heritage edition is a 46 year old single cask, cask strength whisky that has been matured in a single refill American hogshead. Just 75 decanters have been produced from this cask, number 4471.
A tempting nose of vanilla custard, honey and tropical fruits, with intriguing hints of mature oak and an edge of fresh menthol. With lingering oak flavours and hints of smoke on the finish.

Long and refined, the finish clings with oak-driven warmth and a whisper of smoke. Vanilla custard, honey and tropical fruit fade into a cool menthol echo, leaving a lasting, softly smoky warmth on the palate.
