Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep mahogany amber with ruby-gold highlights, a warm, glistening glow suggestive of first-fill sherry maturation.
Nose
Cinnamon and ginger mingle with rich fruitcake, while hazelnut and cocoa powder unfurl and cherries glisten, braided with a subtle herbal note.
Palate
Dark chocolate and stewed fruit fuse with rich toffee on the palate, where raspberry notes rise to the fore before yielding to soft black pepper.
Finish
A medium-bodied, nutty finish with toasted oak, letting cocoa nibs and a gentle spice linger warmly on the palate.
