Benrinnes Claxton's Single Cask Whisky 10 Year Old · 2008 Vintage
Out of stock
A rather rare bottling from this particular distillery. Most Benrinnes distilate goes into blends, notably Johnnie Walker, so single malt bottlings are fairly scarce. This comes from Yorkshire bottler Claxton's and just 251 bottles were produced.
This has classic Bourbon cask character. The nose is malty and biscuity with sweet spice and floral tones. The palate is medium with caramel, toffee and banana waffles (with cream) and a slight baked pastry note. The finish continues with the malty notes, shortbread, digestives and oatiness.
