Nose

Elegant, inviting nose of glace cherry and red berry nougat, tempered by Genoa sponge cake and peach melba. Rich toffee and butterscotch mingle with dark ginger cake, while caramelised brown sugar crème brûlée crowns the aroma. Subtle mocha and marmalade add a polished, dessert-like depth.

Palate

Walnut and coffee cake notes lead into sherry-soaked dried fruit, melon and ginger, peanut brittle, sticky toffee pudding, dried dates, toasted tea cakes, and a golden syrup sponge with custard.

Finish

Long, indulgent finish of rum-and-raisin fudge and coffee creams, opening to ripe figs and dark honey. Marmalade on toasted malt loaf with apricot glaze lingers, followed by stewed plums for a warm, comforting sweetness that lingers on the palate.
