From the Darkness range comes a 6 year old single malt which has had a finishing period in an Oloroso Sherry octave. With an increased interaction between the wood and whisky, these casks create lots of additional sherried notes giving this whisky plenty of citrus, dried fruits, berry and buttered notes.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and a coppery glow.
Nose
On the nose, orange zest and lemon rind rise, enriched by the Oloroso sherry finish. Dried prune and raisin mingle with blackberry and blueberry, while buttery notes and caramel-toffee add indulgence. Subtle almond, spice, and polished oak weave through, delivering a luxurious, inviting aroma.
Palate
Full-bodied and velvety, the palate opens with orange zest and citrus peel folded into buttery caramel sweetness. Sherry-driven richness brings dried fig, raisin and berry notes, with toasted oak and spice. The 58.6% ABV coats the mouth for a long, warming finish of cocoa, almond, and lingering sherried fruit.
Finish
Long, sherried finish with bright citrus zest giving way to dried fruit and berry notes, finished by a buttery, creamy wave that lingers warmly.
