Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with burnished copper and mahogany accents, a warm chestnut glow that speaks of aged sherry cask.
Nose
Opulent sherry aroma dominates: dark plum and raisin, pressed fig and orange zest, layered over warm toffee and brown sugar. Rich oak and cedar lend polish and depth, while cinnamon and clove spice glow at the edges. A whisper of dark chocolate and almond completes a velvety, lingering sweetness.
Palate
Silky and deeply sherried, this Ben Nevis coats the palate with dark fruit—plum, fig and raisin—woven with cocoa, leather and toasted spice. Rich oak cushions the finish, delivering a full, warming afterglow of sherry sweetness and subtle nuttiness.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish of dark sherry, with dried plum and fig, wrapped in cocoa and toasted oak. Cinnamon and nutmeg weave through, fading to warm almond and a gentle, lingering glow.
