Opulent, multilayered nose of dark fruit and sherry richness: fig, date and raisin mingle with toffee, vanilla pod and orange zest. Cocoa nibs and polished oak add depth, while cinnamon and clove spark a subtle spice that promises a luxurious, full-bodied palate.

Finish

Long, opulent finish: rich sherry sweetness lingers over toasted oak, with raisin and fig interlacing dark chocolate. Warm spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—caresses a silky, almond-kissed warmth that slowly fades to a velvety, lingering glow.

(bal-VENN-ee) Founded in 1889 by William Grant, Balvenie is located next to the giant Glenfiddich distillery on the outskirts of Dufftown in Speyside. The distillery employs traditional whisky making methods, being one of the few to retain its original floor maltings and on site cooperage. The Balvenie single malt is typically rich, luxuriously smooth, and has a distinctive honeyed character.
