Pretty much the pinnacle of Balvenie Whiskies, even better than our all time favourite the 30 year old. These bottles are very much underated in our opinion and it's only a matter of time before people catch on to how fantastic they really are.

Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and mahogany undertones, a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Opulent and deeply rich, the nose unfolds dark fruit—prune, fig and raisin—under sherry sweetness. Honeyed vanilla, toffee and brown sugar mingle with polished oak, cacao and spice. Subtle leather notes add aged elegance, while cinnamon and nutmeg give a warm, lasting finish.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this Balvenie delivers a sherry-influenced sweetness layered with dried fig and raisin, melting into toffee and honey. Creamy vanilla weaves with nutmeg and cinnamon; oak and leather add ballast. The mouthfeel is luxurious and persistent, finishing long with warm spice, dark fruit, and a whisper of tobacco.

Long, sherry-kissed finish that lingers with dark fruit, toffee and spice, carried by toasted oak; a warm, refined fade of nutmeg and vanilla that stays gracefully.
