Opulent Oloroso sherry dominates the nose, with toffee and burnt sugar, dried figs and raisins, and orange zest. Almond paste, dark chocolate and espresso deepen the aromas, mingling with warm oak. Cinnamon and clove add spice, while hints of leather and tobacco emerge. A bold, luxurious aroma, richly fruity with a polished, cask-strength edge.

Palate

Full-bodied and intensely sherried, this Auchroisk delivers dark, raisin-led fruit—fig, prune, black cherry—woven with burnt caramel, orange zest and toasted almond. Rich cocoa and coffee notes mingle with warm spice and a hint of leather. At natural strength, it coats the palate with a long finish of spice and dried fruit.

Finish

Very long, sherry-kissed finish with dark fruit, cocoa and spice. Roasted almond and espresso notes emerge as oak, caramel and a warm resinous tail linger, leaving a velvety, persistent warmth.
