The Auchentoshan Three Wood is a vatting of whiskies matured in three types of cask: ex-Bourbon, ex-Oloroso Sherry, and ex-PX Sherry. The result is a rich, sweet, fruity whisky packed with flavours of dried fruit, chocolate, crushed nuts, and ginger cake spice.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery highlights and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent nose of black fruit jam and baked meringue, treacle toffee, and ripe figs in dark honey. Notes of dark chocolate, honeycomb and creme brulee, with a bright accent of orange liqueur.
Palate
Silky hazelnut puree mingles with dark chocolate, orange fondant and ribbons of butterscotch; Nutella on vanilla toast sweetness meets fig jam with a whisper of cinnamon.
Finish
A sweet, dessert-like finish of sticky toffee pudding with orange, honeycomb and gingercake, wrapped in aromatic spices that linger warmly.
