Small, easily transportable whisky casks were a common feature of the island’s illicit distilling past. Reflecting this heritage, after initial aging in ex-bourbon barrels, The Quarter Cask is transferred to smaller ‘quarter’ casks, intensifying the maturation process and adding an extra dimension of spice.
Arran’s signature citrus profile is enhanced by fresh tropical pineapple notes, green apple and vanilla. With indulgent sweetness backed by spiced oak notes, this is a sumptuous and satisfying dram. ABV 56.2% (Cask strength).

Colour
Golden amber with a warm, sunlit glow and a whisper of honey.
Nose
Bright citrus dances with tropical pineapple and crisp green apple, wrapped in vanilla sweetness. A spicy, oak-driven backbone from the quarter-cask maturation adds peppery warmth and toasted notes, while a light coastal brine keeps it fresh. Inviting, bold, and aromatic.
Palate
Vibrant on the palate, tropical pineapple and crisp green apple ride a citrusy arc, balanced by vanilla sweetness. Spiced oak—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—adds warmth and depth, finishing long, honeyed and truly moreish.
Finish
Long, warming finish with vanilla sweetness and spicy oak. Tropical pineapple and green apple carry through, edged by citrus zest as the heat tapers to a bright, lingering fade.
