This whisky sees Arran return to the style of some its earliest single malts, which were predominantly matured in sherry casks. The Bodega has spent time in some of the finest first-fill sherry hogsheads in the industry, originating from Jerez, Andalucía.
This luxurious, full-bodied dram achieves a beautiful balance between the substantial sherry cask and Arran’s subtle spirit.
Ripe dark fruits, hazelnuts, toasted oak and a touch of pink pepper make for a warming, elegant single malt. ABV 55.8% (Cask strength).

Colour
Deep mahogany amber with a warm, reddish glow and coppery highlights.
Nose
Opulent, sherry-kissed nose: ripe dark fruits at the fore, plums and cherries entwined with roasted hazelnuts and toasted oak. A subtle spark of pink pepper threads through, adding warmth and elegant complexity.
Palate
Full-bodied and luxurious, it coats the palate with sherry-rich depth: dark fruit compote of plum and fig, toasted hazelnuts and oak, with a subtle whisper of pink pepper. The cask-strength warmth supports a creamy, velvety mouthfeel, yielding a refined, lingering finish of spice and cocoa.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish unfolds with ripe dark fruits and roasted hazelnuts, carried on toasted oak. A gentle pink pepper warmth lingers, evolving into cocoa and bittersweet chocolate as sherry sweetness slowly fades, leaving a refined, enduring echo of the hogshead.
