This multi-award winning ten year old Arran showcases the rich, sweet, fruity aromas and flavours that are characteristic of whiskies from this exceptional Island distillery. Matured primarily in ex-Bourbon casks, with a smaller proportion on 1st fill and refill Sherry Hogsheads.
On the nose there are aromas of candied citrus and honey. Liquorice and butterscotch becomes present with the addition of water. The citrus notes have rounded with age and reveal new depths of character against a background of sweet oak and apple on the palate. A Sweet spice coats the tongue, with notes of hazelnut and cinnamon, imparting a long lasting, clean and fresh finish.

On the nose, candied citrus and honey lead, with liquorice and butterscotch unfolding as a splash of water awakens them. Citrus notes mellow with age, revealing deeper warmth against a backdrop of sweet oak and orchard apples, hinting at a refined, lingering sweetness.
Palate
On the palate, candied citrus softens into orchard fruit beneath sweet oak. A coat of spice—hazelnut and cinnamon—embraces the tongue, delivering a long, clean finish with lingering fruit and a bright apple note.
Finish
Long, clean and fresh, with a lingering thread of hazelnut and cinnamon weaving through a gentle sweet-spice finish.
