Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a honey-bronze glow.
Nose
An inviting nose of chocolate raisins, spicy orange curd and malt loaf, with buttery toasted tea cakes and aromatic spices. Red grapefruit threads through vanilla notes and apricot jam, weaving a warm, fruit-forward aroma that hints at Madeira sweetness.
Palate
Seville orange marmalade on cinnamon and raisin bagels, toasted vanilla and a touch of peppery spice. Clove and nutmeg dust over pink grapefruit, finishing with apricot-glazed Danish pastries.
Finish
Sweet and lingering: sugared almonds and golden syrup lay a warm base, highlighted by white pepper and vanilla sponge pudding. Blood orange sparks the finish, with aromatic spices and a final kiss of glace cherry nougat.
