A hugely popular whisky from Arran's Cask Finishes range. After initially maturing in ex-Bourbon casks, this whisky was 'finished' in Amarone wine casks sourced from an artisan Italian winemaker. The end result is a single malt with a rich brooding character, full of complexity and quality.
Due to the red wine cask maturation, the whisky has a pale pink hue.
The nose is quite floral and full of red fruits with a pinch of salt.
The palate continues on the fruit train with apricots and cherries and smidgen of bitter chocolate.
