Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with bronze-copper edges and a smoky, sunlit glow.
Nose
Sharp peat smoke opens the nose, with a medicinal edge that soon softens into creamy malt. Coffee beans emerge, followed by hints of ginger and pink grapefruit, finishing with a surprising whisper of freshly mown grass.
Palate
A fierce, pepper-forward palate of peat, with red chili and black pepper, gradually giving way to sweeter notes of toffee and orange zest, finishing with a warming lift of steaming white coffee.
Finish
Long, warming and intensely spicy, the finish coats with tobacco and Tabasco heat, interlaced with allspice, a touch of sea salt, and a suave hint of white chocolate.
