Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold sheen and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Intense peat smoke and iodine rise with coastal brine and a medicinal snap. Sherry sweetness drapes dark fruit—raisin and fig—over cocoa and vanilla, while a touch of burnt sugar and toasted oak anchors the aroma. A saline, maritime note lingers, giving Islay character and depth.
Palate
Powerfully peated and maritime on the palate, iodine-smoked with sea-salt bite. Sherry maturation weaves dark fruit—raisin, fig, cocoa—with caramelized vanilla. Full, warming mouthfeel yields peppery, lingering smoke and a long coastal finish.
Finish
Long, peaty finish coats the palate in sea-salt smoke, then unfolds sherry-matured fruit—raisin and fig—paired with dark chocolate and espresso. It dries to a mineral, oak-spice note that lingers warmly.
