Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-gold with radiant amber and mahogany-bronze undertones, a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Intense peat smoke dominates, threaded with iodine and sea-salt air. Beneath, sherry-soft sweetness surfaces—raisins, toffee, vanilla—alongside dark fruit and polished oak. A touch of citrus zest lifts the aroma, delivering a coastal, smoky richness that lingers.
Palate
Intense, oily peat coats the palate with medicinal smoke and coastal salt, backed by dark chocolate, espresso and burnt sugar. A subtle sherry kiss adds dried orange, raisin and warming spice, giving breadth to a full-bodied, velvety mouthfeel. The finish unfurls slowly—peaty, resinous, and briny, with charred oak and lingering coastal breeze.
Finish
Long, smoky finish with peat and coastal iodine, a drying ash and saline tang. Subtle dark chocolate and citrus lift the palate before a warming peppery fade and dry oak that lingers softly.
