Colour
Bright golden straw with a delicate amber sheen.
Nose
Bold peat smoke floods the nose, mingling with iodine and sea-salt for a coastal, medicinal core. Bright citrus zest and vanilla weave through, while cocoa and toasted oak add a subtle, savoury depth.
Palate
Peat smoke floods the palate in a coastal, oily tide: salty iodine, seaweed and ash mingle with lemon zest and vanilla, then toasted oak surfaces. The finish is long and peppery, with resinous, medicinal smoke lingering over a briny, sun-warmed sweetness.
Finish
Long, smoky finish with maritime brine and iodine, sharpened by peppery peat. Subtle char and ash give way to a gentle vanilla sweetness, leaving a warm, lingering glow that echoes Ardbeg’s legendary peat.
