"The nose is light and gently peated with a hint of lemon. The body is less oily and rounded than many Ardbegs. Sweet peat and canned peach on the palate"
90.5 points in Jim Murray's whisky bible 2017
"A beautiful, if slightly underpowered malt, which shows Ardbeg's naked self to glowing effect"
A Lightly peated (just 8ppm), limited release designed as an entry point into the wonderful world of Ardbeg and Islay malts in general. This reminds us of a more powerful version of a classic Rosebank. Now very much discontinued and sure to skyrocket in value as there were only 1,800 bottles allocated for the UK.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale straw gold with a delicate sunlit glow.
Nose
A delicate, airy aroma with gentle peat and a bright lemon lift. The smoke is soft rather than aggressive, revealing citrus zest and a whisper of sweetness. Light and inviting, it promises Blasda as an approachable yet unmistakably Islay malt.
Palate
Soft, approachable peat meets bright peach and a whisper of lemon on the palate. The body is less oily and more rounded than typical Ardbegs, delivering sweet peat with canned peach and a clean, lingering finish.
Finish
Light and breezy on the finish, with wisps of gentle peat giving a subtle smoke that lingers beside citrusy lemon and sweet peach notes. A clean, refreshing fade that never dries.
