Tasting Notes
Colour
Sun-warmed amber with coppery-bronze highlights and a radiant, honeyed glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry notes perfume the aroma: dried figs, prunes and orange zest mingle with walnut and toffee, framed by vanilla and almond. Subtle spice—cinnamon and clove—creeps in, with a polished oak lift completing the profile.
Palate
Silky on the palate, dried fruit and orange zest give way to fig and raisin, with almond and dark chocolate notes. Sherry influence adds warmth, molasses and gentle spice—cinnamon, nutmeg, clove—woven with polished oak. Full-bodied yet elegant, it coats with a creamy texture and a long finish of fruitcake, coffee, and refined oak.
Finish
Long and elegant, the finish coats the palate with sherried caramel and dried fruit, bright orange zest giving way to cocoa, toasted almond and spice, with warm oak lingering in a refined, softly spiced fade.
